✨ The journey continues—a new GODYSSEY chapter is posted today! ✨
❆ Recap: Naran and Kai sit with Deeri in her cabin at the fireplace drinking tea. Naran will need to decide if she wants to stay in the camp, or if she wants to go home. If you need to catch up, you can find the previous chapters here: Table of Contents ❆
“Before you decide if you want to stay, Naran, you have the right to know who invited you.” Deeri sits straight up in her rocking chair, leans over, and brings her face close to mine. She looks deeply into my eyes.
“My name is Deerila Samaliv Lukreny. I’m the daughter of Mirasay Lukreny and Brunos Hollarwar. I had seven sisters, five of them had children. I had a husband called Larmir Fushial. We were all inhabitants of Didelis, or the land you call Greenland.”
I look up. Greenland? The land of ice is Didelis?
“My direct family members are no longer alive, nor is Larmir. The location where we lived in Greenland has been destroyed.”
Deeri doesn’t pay attention to the shocked expression on my face. She continues:
“My grandmother, my mother, aunts and sisters, their children and myself, we were all from the Worden bloodline. But today, I am the only initiated Worden alive on this earth.”
Deeri stares into the fire. She whispers some soft words, and that moment the flames grow in length while the tips turn bright green.
“Worden hold the most important position in the Didelian society. In your world, you have various types of leaders. Political leaders such as kings and queens, emperors, presidents, prime ministers, dictators, etcetera. And you have religious leaders, almost exclusively men. Didelians know only one type of leader. Worden. As Worden, it’s not only the Didelians we guide. The history of the Worden bloodline is long, complex, and encompasses many planets and timelines so vast that you, as an Earthling, will not be able to comprehend. As Worden, we are the guardians of this universe. We are tasked with the duty to seed planets and maintain order once life thrives. A task we complete by connecting to Base Level. Worden are also known as Level Keepers.
“Base Layer is a difficult concept to understand. In fact, words prove inadequate to really give it the description it deserves. Base Level is a point where all the dimensions of creation come together and where it is decided what creation looks like. Everything you see on earth is first initiated at Base Level, after which it materializes through dimensions that are governed by specific laws. The material reflection of creation you experience on earth is the lowest expression of what once was created in Base Level.”
I blink a few times, indeed not sure that I understand what Deeri is telling me.
“Many names in your world are used for the idea of Base Level,” Kai adds when he notices the blank expression on my face. “Some people call Base Level ‘Source,’ ‘The Field,’ ‘Pure Consciousness,’ or ‘The Space of Infinite Potential.’ It is the Level you connect to when you are able to drop all ego-driven thoughts, beliefs, and projections. When you connect to Base Level, you don’t have a personality or identity as you know it. You just are. And this is an incredibly difficult state for humans to get to. The moment you drop everything you rigidly believe in, you connect to Base Level.” Deeri nods.
“But even for Didelians, this is a difficult state to reach. It requires one to leave behind their ego-driven thoughts. It takes practice and discipline. One will have to silence the emotional world and enter a thoughtless moment. A good example of humans who can do this is martial artists. Masters in martial arts are able to break physical rules, purely by deeply understanding the Laws of Matter. Submerged in utter concentration, these masters connect to the highest level of the Laws, Base Level, and then they form a new reality in which they believe. They manipulate matter by using the power of thought and focus and by using the Laws. They posses a deep understanding of the workings of Base Level, and that allows them to directly manipulate matter.”
“Is that what you do during the shows?”
Deeri nods.
“During the show, we, the performers, collectively connect to Base Level, and we allow the audience to see the effects. But this can only happen under my guidance. In order to protect the Didelian state they need for Base Level, I shield them from strong human doubt. I make sure that even in the presence of tens of thousands thunderous human minds, my people stay connected to Base Level. In daily life, Didelians don’t need my presence to stay connected to the Laws when working with them. But the shows are different. They last for three hours, while the thousands of minds of the spectators around the performers project fears and incertitude. The consequences of a minor loss of focus on the Didelians’ part can be fatal. During the show, I keep everyone in the same connected state. During the show, I pull both the audience and the Didelians back into their connection. I make sure that the entire Arena stays connected to Base Level, the source. Thus, I scan the audience continuously. When I feel an individual’s fear border on terror, or when I feel doubt that is too strong, I work directly with that individual in the audience. I pull the person back into relaxation. I keep people in Base Level, hence the name we Worden have received is Level Keeper.”
“Oohh,” I gasp, “I think I remember you doing that! Is it difficult for you?” I ask, astounded that Deeri is sharing her personal mysteries with me…
“The show nights are straining, yes. It would have been an easier task if I had worked with my sisters…” Suddenly Deeri’s eyes look pained. She pushes herself deep into her chair and takes a sip from her tea, then goes on:
“Didelians connect to Base Level very efficiently. You too, Naran, on a daily basis, connect to the Base Level. You are just not aware of it. You manifest your thoughts into matter, all within the framework of what you know is possible, and continue to live in your material world, reaping the fruits of your creation.”
“So I create via Base Level, but I am not aware of it?”
“Exactly. Human manifestation powers are focused on personal creations. What you focus on, as Naran the individual, changes, and that is what you see. But the personal creation is a part of the collective creation. Everything influences everything else. A Worden sees how it all connects, and thus sees the truth behind everything. She knows and sees the design of everything. Worden and Didelians are aware of the Laws of Creation while using them, whilst humans use them haphazardly. Humans are aware of some of their creative powers, but they don’t see that absolutely everything in their reality is part of their creation. Sometimes you create what you intend, and sometimes you accidentally create what you didn’t intend. It’s because you are not trained to work with Base Level.”
“And the Didelians are not Worden?”
“No. The Worden are a special bloodline,” Deeri answers.
“A Didelian bloodline?”
“The Didelians are not Worden, though we have lived together for many millenia, ever since the Great Destruction. Worden had children with Didelians and have mixed their existence, but following very specific rules,” Deeri explains.
“But the Didelians, are aware of the Laws of Creation,” Kai says. “And, therefore, we create exceptionally quickly, and more efficiently than humans. But we are not designed to be connected to Base Level as the Worden are.”
Kai tightens his grip, and I feel the support of his strong body behind me. Inside, I feel tumultuous. I’m here to learn, that seems obvious now. But why me? An external pressure is creeping up on me and my shoulders feel heavy. Kai places one of his hands on my back, and warmth flows from it. A feeling of relaxation trickles down my body.
Deeri looks at us and smiles tenderly.
